In collaboration with the Libyan-Spanish Academy and as part of the activities of the Resource Center for Civil Society Organizations for the month of February, the Language Salon was held yesterday evening. The salon brought together a group of specialists, translators, and experienced individuals.

The salon discussed the topic of mother tongue and its impact on learning other languages, translation between languages, as well as the Libyan job market and the challenges faced by translators.

The Resource Center is part of the “Let’s Collaborate” project, which aims to enhance the capacity of civil society organizations, support their initiatives, and intensify their civic participation. The project is implemented by the British Council in Libya in partnership with the Technical Cooperation and Development Agency and the International Center for Development and Governance, and is funded by the European Union.
